Audio files contain more data than the actual songs. You can choose which details you want to be copied by simply clicking their corresponding check boxes.

Besides editing tags manually or copying information from one to another, you can also use information from the file's name. Additionally, the application can perform the process in reverse, which means that it can rename the files, using specific bits of information from the file's tags. If a file's tags are completely blank, you can retrieve the information you need from the Internet. Kid3 Tag Editor can search for the information on various online sources, including MusicBrainz Fingerprint, which can recognize your songs by "listening" to them.
